• Grapeseed oil is a high source of omega fatty acids and Vitamin E, useful for its anti-aging and moisturizing effects. Grapeseed oil is rated 1 on the comedogenic scale meaning is has a low likelihood of clogging pores. It posses anti-antioxidant, anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties and is nurturing to the skin. The grapeseed oil used in this product is 100% pure, unrefined and cold pressed. 

• Olive oil is a natural emollient rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, making it an excellent moisturizer for the skin. It helps to lock in moisture, leaving the skin soft, supple, and hydrated. Additionally, the antioxidants in olive oil can help protect the skin from environmental damage and promote a healthy, youthful complexion.

• Castor oil is rich in fatty acids and used to promote hydration of skin by reducing water loss. Castor oil also has anti-inflammatory properties that promotes healthy skin.

• Evening primrose oil is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid that supports skin health by promoting moisture retention and maintaining the skin's natural barrier function. This oil is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and may help soothe irritation and improve overall skin texture.

• Sweet almond oil is a lightweight, non-comedogenic oil that is rich in fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. Its potent moisturizing properties make it suitable for all skin types. It’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich make up helps soothe irritated skin and improve skin’s overall appearance. 

• Calendula flowers are known for being a powerful skin ally. The flowers posses anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and vulnerary properties, to name a few. Calendula can be used to ease skin issues such as rashes, cuts, burns, bruises and bites. The calendula flowers used in this product are certified USDA Organic. 
• Chamomile is recognized for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties which aid by reducing irritation. Its antioxidants and essential oils contribute to healthier skin and hair.
• Nettle’s high vitamin, mineral and amino acid content makes it one of the most nourishing herbs. It is high in minerals like like iron, calcium, magnesium and silica that promote healthy hair and nails. When used topically, nettle helps bring blood flow to the area. Its anti-inflammatory and astringent properties are especially beneficial in skin care products.
• Lavender has a wide range of skin supporting properties. It is popularly known for its floral aroma and calmative properties. Its analgesic properties aid in relieving pain, it’s anti-inflammatory properties reduce itching while it’s anti-fungal properties fights against fungus promoting healthier skin. 

• Rose hips are high in fatty acids providing hydration to the skin and hair. Rose hips area high in vitamins A, B, C and E promoting anti-aging by nurturing the skin. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties that assist in fighting bacteria and soothing irritation. 

• Clary sage essential oil is valued in skincare for its astringent properties, which help regulate excess sebum production, making it beneficial for oily or acne-prone skin. It also possesses natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities, which can soothe skin irritation and reduce redness.

• Frankincense essential oil is prized for its skin rejuvenating properties. It contains boswellic acids that may help reduce inflammation and promote cell regeneration, making it beneficial for treating scars, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone.

• Tea tree oil is renowned for its potent antimicrobial properties, making it highly effective in treating acne and various skin infections. Its natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory compounds help to soothe redness, swelling, and irritation. 

• Lemon essential oil is known for its astringent and brightening properties, making it beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin types. It contains natural citric acid and antioxidants that help exfoliate dead skin cells, unclog pores, and promote a more even complexion. However, it's important to note that lemon essential oil is highly concentrated and can be photosensitive, so it should be used with caution.

• Vitamin E is used as a natural preservative due to its antioxidant properties that help extend the shelf life of natural cosmetic oil based products by preventing oxidation. Vitamin E also benefits the skin by reinforcing the skin sebum, our skin’s protective barrier. The vitamin E in our products is soy and corn free and derived from non-GMO sunflower seeds.
